Social Emotional Learning Resources

Resource overview by Janine Domingues, PhD

Welcome to a collection of social-emotional wellness resources developed by the Child Mind Institute. Each wellness module consists of introductory/overview videos, teacher guides, instructional videos for students, interactive student worksheets and handouts, and a family guide to support student’s practice. All materials are ready to deliver to your students. New content will be uploaded once every month.

SEL Content Curation Philosophy

The SEL resources curated here incorporate strategies from evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) (e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools (CBITS; Jaycox, Langley, & Hoover, 2003); Modular Approach to Therapy for Children with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, or Conduct Problems (MATCH – ADTC; Chorpita & Weisz, 2009), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT; Linehan, 2014; Rathus & Miller, 2014).

Thanks for trying out one of the SEL strategies in your classroom or school from Child Mind Institute!
