Carbon Footprint Project

What: PBL Works published an in depth project on carbon footprint (signing up is free). This project has an overall summary, learning goals, considerations, and milestones to help you with your planning! This project is best for math students in grades 3-6. 

Why: It is important to chunk out the learning with specific goals, especially when assigning projects for students. Additionally, this project develops an understanding of what carbon footprints mean and how each individual has an impact on their society.
