Get Students Talking

Why: These activities promote student discussion in a low lift way which helps students socialize and build connections. It is also important to include supports like pictures, examples and sentence stems for sharing to support all learners. 

What: These slides include three different activities to get students talking and connecting: Would You Rather?, Show in Tell and What Will Happen Next? Within these activities I have included directions, exemplars and use of many of my own pictures which promotes connection. 

How: Make a copy of any of the activities in slides 4-24 and add in your own examples/visuals based on student interests. The activities are divided by a black slide with the title.
