Tools with Equitable Access
Curated by: Elsa Backers
What: Choose tools with equitable access to engage students remotely and in person (if you are teaching hybrid)
Why: Students on both sides (zoom or in person) should feel like they have a voice in the classroom.
How: Using tools like peardeck, nearpod, and padlet help students share their “voice” with other students without the fear of unmuting, saying something wrong, etc. Students have the ability to be anonymous (up to teacher), so sometimes they feel more motivated or encouraged to participate!
Best For: teachers
