Hyperdocs
Curated by: Hong Ha Hoang
What
A HyperDoc is a digital document—such as a Google Doc—where all components of a learning cycle have been pulled together into one central hub. Within a single document, students are provided with hyperlinks to all of the resources they need to complete that learning cycle. They are digital lesson plans that are designed by teachers and given to students. A HyperDoc also gives students choices for how they want to navigate their own learning. They provide access for students to all the content and learning in one organized digital space.
Why
It is a new kind of instruction and a new way to engage their learners. HyperDocs are digital lessons that are fully customizable to meet the needs of learners and teachers. With one shortened link, students can access a lesson that contains instructions, links, tasks, and many clever ways to get kids thinking. HyperDocs are interactive, transformative and adaptable
